Was thinking it could be a good idea to normalize present delays as part of Christmas.
Especially in regard to in demand limited supply products.
A nice well presented certificate that explains that because of the high demand of a gift this year that the elves were unfortunately unable to keep up, but that your present will get to you soon.
Maybe the certificate could come with an ornament, figurine, or some kind of picture of the item.
Then was thinking we could make a movie about this theme. A movie where a present becomes really popular and Santa & the elves are doing everything they can to meet demand but are unable to. Then Santa explains that this year they will be behind.
I feel a movie could really help normalize this idea and make it a normal part of Christmas.
Then hopefully it would make Christmas better all around and we can help curb these mad rushes for items before Christmas.
